Customer Eligibility & Order Review

Our products are compounds and reference materials intended for in-vitro laboratory research, analytical work, method development, and institutional research. They are supplied to purchasers who have a genuine research purpose and the competence and facilities to handle laboratory chemicals safely.

1.1 Who may purchase

Access to the catalogue and to payment is restricted to approved institutional accounts. Registration is limited to verified institutional email addresses, and an account must be approved before any product or price is visible. The verification standard, and what an approved account permits, are set out in full in our Institutional Access Policy.

• Government and public-sector research laboratories
• Non-profit and institutionally affiliated research organisations

1.2 Who these materials are not for

These materials are not supplied to, and must not be purchased by, anyone intending to administer them to a human or an animal, to resell them for that purpose, or to use them for any clinical, therapeutic, diagnostic, cosmetic, dietary, or personal purpose. That restriction is absolute and applies regardless of the purchaser's own qualifications.

There is no consumer storefront, no guest checkout, and no route by which an unverified visitor can place an order.

An order cannot be completed on this site until the purchaser has supplied the following information and given both acknowledgements below. These are requirements, not optional fields, and the payment step is unavailable until they are satisfied.

2.1 Information required

• Institution or organisation — the institution the purchase is made for.
• Field of research — the discipline the materials will be used in.
• Purchaser name and institutional contact details, including the verified institutional email address the account is held under.
• Department or division, and role, establishing the purchaser's authority to procure.
• Delivery address — the verified institutional address materials are dispatched to.
• Jurisdiction of registration — the state or territory in which the institution is registered.

2.2 Acknowledgements required

Two separate confirmations must be given affirmatively. Neither is pre-selected on your behalf, and neither can be skipped:

1. 01A research-use acknowledgement, confirming that you are a qualified researcher aged 21 or over, that you are purchasing the materials solely for laboratory research, and that they will not be administered to humans or animals.
2. 02Acceptance of our Terms & Conditions, which prohibit human or animal use, resale of products for such use, and misrepresentation of your identity, qualifications, or intended use.

2.3 What we record

Each acknowledgement is recorded against your order together with the IP address it was given from, the date and time, and the version of the terms accepted. We retain that record as evidence of the basis on which the order was supplied, and may produce it in response to a regulatory enquiry, a payment dispute, or a request from our payment providers.

As stated in our Terms & Conditions, Axos Research may accept or decline any order at its discretion. An order placed and paid for is an offer to purchase; it is not accepted until we confirm it.

3.1 Grounds for declining an order

We will not knowingly supply materials where the information available to us indicates a prohibited use. The following are treated as grounds to hold, decline, or cancel an order, and to decline future orders:

• Any communication indicating intended human or animal use, self-administration, or personal use.
• A request for dosing, administration, injection, cycle, or treatment guidance.
• A request that we remove or alter research-use labelling, or describe a shipment inaccurately.
• Institution or purchaser information that is materially inconsistent and cannot be reconciled.
• Repeated ordering attempts under different identities or institutions following a declined order.
• An order pattern that cannot be reconciled with the stated research purpose.

3.2 Outcome

Where an order is declined, payment is not captured or is refunded in full. We may contact you first if the matter is capable of being resolved. We are not obliged to explain a refusal in detail, and declining an order is not an accusation of wrongdoing — it reflects that we could not satisfy ourselves the supply was consistent with this policy.

By purchasing from this site you accept responsibility for what happens to the materials after they reach you. In particular:

• You will use the materials only for the research purpose declared, and only within an appropriate facility.
• You will retain product labelling and any safety documentation supplied, and comply with applicable handling, storage, transport, and workplace safety requirements in your jurisdiction.
• You will not administer, supply, or direct the materials for human or animal use, and will not resell them to anyone who intends to.
• You will tell us if the intended use, or the institution the materials are supplied to, changes materially.
