Compliance
Who may hold an account, how institutional affiliation is verified, and what access is refused.
For research use only
All materials are supplied strictly for in vitro laboratory research. They are not for human or veterinary administration, and not for clinical, diagnostic, or therapeutic use. Nothing on this site is an offer to supply for any such purpose.
Axos Research Inc supplies research-grade compounds exclusively to verified academic, government, and non-profit research institutions. This policy sets out the eligibility requirements for an account, the verification we apply, and the circumstances in which access is refused or withdrawn.
Access is not available to the general public. There is no consumer storefront, no guest checkout, and no route by which an unverified visitor can place an order.
Section 1
Accounts are available to individuals procuring on behalf of an institution engaged in laboratory research. Applicants must be authorized to make or request procurement decisions for that institution.
Applications from individuals purchasing for personal use are refused. An account may not be used to procure materials for onward supply to any party that would not itself qualify under this policy.
Section 2
Verification is enforced by the site itself at the point of registration. It is a technical control, not a statement of intent.
Registration requires an email address on a restricted institutional domain. We accept addresses ending in .edu (registries limited to accredited institutions) and .gov (registries limited to government bodies). Addresses on consumer email providers are rejected at registration and no account is created.
Domains that merely resemble institutional ones, including .org, are not accepted on that basis alone. Any registry that does not restrict who may register within it is not treated as evidence of affiliation.
A registered address must be confirmed before the account can be used. Until confirmation is completed, the account cannot sign in, cannot view the catalogue, and cannot reach a payment page.
Applicants must provide the institution's name, the relevant department or division, the applicant's role, the institution's mailing address, and a description of the intended laboratory application. Applicants must affirm that materials will be used solely for in vitro laboratory research and that they are authorized to procure on the institution's behalf. These declarations are recorded with the account.
Section 3
An approved account may view the catalogue and associated documentation, including lot-specific Certificates of Analysis, and may submit orders for fulfilment to a verified institutional address.
Orders are shipped to institutional addresses. We may decline to ship to an address that does not correspond to the institution recorded on the account.
Section 4
Axos Research may refuse an application, or suspend or terminate an existing account, at its discretion. Grounds include, without limitation:
Access may be withdrawn after approval where any of the above later comes to our attention. Withdrawal does not affect obligations already incurred under the Terms & Conditions.
Section 5
We retain the application details and the declarations made at registration as the record of the verification applied to each account. These records are held for as long as is necessary to evidence compliance with this policy, and are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Section 6
Questions about eligibility, or a request to review a refused application, may be directed to support@axosresearch.org. An institution whose email domain falls outside those listed in §2.1 may contact us to discuss alternative verification.
