What is Tesamorelin / Ipamorelin?

This research blend combines Tesamorelin, a synthetic GHRH analog with an established clinical literature, and Ipamorelin, a selective ghrelin-receptor agonist, as a paired reagent for in vitro and preclinical GH-axis studies. The two peptides target distinct receptor classes — GHRH-R and GHS-R1a — enabling investigation of combinatorial GH-axis stimulation within a single experimental system.

Tesamorelin has accumulated one of the stronger clinical datasets for any synthetic GHRH analog, including a 15–18% reduction in visceral adipose tissue at 26 weeks in HIV-associated lipodystrophy (Falutz et al.). Ipamorelin is studied alongside it because it releases GH selectively without the cortisol or prolactin elevations observed with older GHS compounds, making the pairing useful for isolating GH/IGF-1 pathway effects in controlled models.
